We flew to LA, picked up our car and headed to Vegas! We checked out Hollywood and Beverley Hills on the way. Checked into the Flamingo, right opposite the Bellagio hotel! Damian couldn’t wait to get started, flashing pictures everywhere! We played on a few one arm bandits and came away $10 up on roulette!

We walked the strip and checked out all the hotels and casinos. It was just like Oceans 11! We saw the MGM Grand, Bellagio and Caesars Palace. New York New York has a rollercoaster going all the way through it, whilst the Venetian has gondola rides along the “indoor” grand canal. Crazy!! The famous Bellagio fountain had water displays to music every 5 minutes. We saw the display accompanied by Elton John’s “A Song for Guy”, which was really impressive. This was followed by a cheesy song called “I’m proud to be an American”, so we left! Damian played with the big boys at Texas Hold em poker. He didn’t win, but had fun losing!
