Lady in the white coat

Yey for the observation of the lady in a white coat at The Alex.

I went to check out Tacheles an alternative arts scene on Oranienburgerstrasse. There's a huge underground scene in Berlin. It's very cool and very available if you know where to look. These art places need to work on being more inviting if they wish to sell any of this artwork. I really don't know how I ended up on Museum Island but anyway, it was recommended somewhere to go check out the Pergamon Museum. The queue there was just as long as the one at the Alex. This time I get smart and go in the Ausgang door. I'm quite glad I did. The tourist shop is great and has this display book of all the articles in the museum and text to go with it. :D I realise that museums are rather boring if you don't know what hte items relate to.

Met up with Alex (not the building) and he showed me a section of the original Berlin Wall near the documentation centre. I finally know what the whole Berlin Wall thing is about. Also, I noticed that there's bricks around Berlin to denote where the Wall use to be.

Afterwards we went for a beer at a local (and traditional looking) pub. I tried Berliner Kindl. It tastes like VB and Tooheys New. Not my favourite but I've cataloged it as in experience. Afterwards I had lunch by myself at the pub across from this one. Fried spatzle with lentils. Quite nice. Spatzle is this flour/water/egg nudl and very German.

I think travelling or the lack of sunlight after 4pm is getting to me. I slept at 7pm
