or Best Ever Birthday Weekend in Budapest!!! And that it was! Started off with chocolate cake in bed...doesn't get much better than that, but in fact it did! Kater arrived that evening and Ben made birthday sushi for the Budapest gang. Was so nice, just friends and wine and...raw fish! :) No it was actually great, and so nice that after only a month here we have what I consider to be quite a "gang" already!! People I enjoy spending time with and care about - friends! New freidns and old friends and a good time all round. And Saturday followed with more antics, showing kater the sights of the city, and of course a bit of girly shopping!! The evening was spent in Koleves for dinner (mmmmmmmm!), and cake. That was hilarious. I had no idea there would be cake (although judging from other birthdays and knowing Kata, I had an inkling). But nothing could have prepared me for the cake they had actually prepared for us: it had Ben and my picture printed on it!! It was hilarious. Was a little freaked out initially, bit too much like an engagement arty, the whole cutting the cake and all that...and eating his face was weird ,too! But the whole thing was so sweet!! And from there we went to the ever cool Szoda club for a bit of a boogy. The dancing fingers were out in full glory and there were some great moves. Sunday morning was blissfully spent eating hangover food on Liszt Ferenc ter, in the sun, and after a short stint back asleep in bed, spent the rest of the day at PN2, our regular Sunday picnics on a pier off Margaret Island that seem to be growing by the week. Great place to catch up, meet new people and feel a bit like a the seaside....
