I took a domestic United Airline to fly to Las Vegas. There were "no service" on this airline, unlike SIA!
Las Vegas-City of Sins. Everywhere you find casinos in the hotel. As I hated gambling, I did not try my luck at the many jackpot machines. Instead I went around snapping pictures of the various hotels. Their designs were unique. There was a pirate ship in front of the Treasure Island hotel.
A heaven for gamblers!

At the Caesar Palace, there were white tigers on show. There were also many beautiful painting inside for those that had artistic inclinations. In the evening, I watched the "Jubilee!" , voted the best showgirls. Although the performers were topless, the whole musical had a theme and was artistic. I paid US42 for the show plus a drink.
Looking for some excitement, I embarked on a Grand Canyon West Rim Air/Ground Tour. I was the "co-pilot" on Eagle Canyon Airline. I was the only Singaporean on this flight. The rest of the travellers were from Japan.

I met a black American who thought I was some "kung Fu" master. I wore a Mongolian hat and he found it amusing so he put it on his head to take a picture.
Before I end my journey in Los Angeles, Itook short trip to Laughlin, Nevada. The tour cost me US7.95. On my way, I travelled through Searchlight, where Gold was discovered in 1897 and from the highway, I could see evidence of the current day prospectors' mining efforts. Then, the journey proceeded to Laughlin, where glittering new hotels and casinos hug the banks of the mighty Colorado river.
