The last day...

Ken slept in this morning due to a little late night partying...I struck out on my own onto the Venice streets with my camera.  After about 1 1/2 hours of snapping photos, Ken met me and we had an early lunch of authentic pizza.  From there, we took a water taxi over to the island where they make the famous Murano glass. We were able to see a demonstration of glass blowing and tour the master artists gallery.  Ken purchased a beautiful piece for his home signed by a master.  Upon returning to the main island, we took the traditional gondola ride after sunset.  Soooo cool... Our last Italian dinner was in a great ristorante of three courses with wine.  A great ending to nine days in Italy... This trip was everything I thought it would be and more...  I am a lucky girl!  I've certainly lived "la dolce vita" over the last nine days.  Ciao!
