Big Ole Family Day!!

Today was the remembrance day for Jerome and Carla's Grandfather who passed away 1 year ago. That meant church in the am and then HUMOUNGOUS brunch/lunch/buffett following the service. Service was really quite lovely. It happened to be Holy Family Weekend - so the entire service was about coming together as a family - what family means.. How totally perfect to have a remembrance day!! It was beautiful! Not to be outdone - the buffett was OFF THE CHAIN!! I took pictures - but I had 2 plates of shrimp curry with all the fixins - Mom would have been proud, tried crab legs - don't like them and then multi plates of desserts and mayo salads. YUMO! Chris and I being the only Non Glags are really enjoying ourselves meeting the rest of the family and connecting in our own way through the experience. It's been really nice to be a part of the 8 of us!!!
Then Jerome, Carla, kids and I went to Ala Moana beach for a bit. Made sand castles again. Kids had a meltdown so we took off for the next meal at none other than Ruby Tuesdays. No comment :)
