The Cape Lodge is an ideal retreat for wine connoisseurs. Set in its own vineyard within 40 acres of native forest, the resort is renowned for its cuisine, seclusion, and natural beauty. Surrounded by magnificent gardens overlooking a picturesque lake, the Cape Lodge is popular with both wine and nature lovers alike. Maybe that is partly due to having 20 acclaimed Margaret River vineyards within five minutes drive. Each of its 24 suites is light, airy, and stylishly furnished. Superior and garden suites overlook the garden and lake, while their own private lakes set eight new luxury forest suites with king-size spas. Impressive local wines, all served on the restaurant over-water deck complement fresh, award-winning cuisine. The hotel was built in 1993 and remodeled in 2003.

FROM BUNBURY FOLLOW THE SIGNS TO BUSSELTON, AND THEN TAKE THE BUSSELTON BYPASS TO DUNSBOROUGH. FROM DUNSBOROUGH, FOLLOW THE SIGNS TO YALLINGUP. JUST BEFORE THE TOWN OF YALLINGUP, TURN LEFT AT THE BROWN TOWN HALL ONTO CAVES ROAD AND AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES 10 KILOMETRES CAPE LODGE IS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OPPOSITE DRIFTWOOD ESTATE WINERY. THE TRIP FROM PERTH WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 3.5 HOURS AT A LEISURELY PACE.
