Well we are now in Singapore and not enjoying the rain and heat one little bit! We have a two day stopover here. We went to the zoo yesterday and had breakfast with the Orang-U-Tan. This was not so much with them, but the ability to have a photo taken in front of them. A little bit dissapointing really.
The rest of the zoo was good - they have an open enclosure policy where the only thing between you and the animals are a deep moat. There was one large enclosure you could enter which we were expecting to find birds and butterflies, but were pleasently suprised that there were small monkeys in there as well. That was untill one of them nearly confused Joe for a tree and came very close to jumping on him that I think Joe nearly peed his pants!!!

We also had the opportunity to pat a enormous boa constrictor. I wasn't going to do this, then Joe chickened out at well, then I changed my mind. Felt just like a nice pair of shoes!! Joe then decided that I couldn't show him up and he had a pat as well.
After we left the zoo Joe went to Sim Lim tower, a mecca for electronic and computer equipment. I continued on back to the hotel as I was so tired I could hardly keep my eyes open. Upon Joe's return we went for a walk outside which didn't last very long as it was very humid. We found an Italian place called Spageddies where we had dinner then went back to our room for an early night.
Today is our last day overseas and we are planning to ride the cable car across to Santosa to have a look at this resort Island. After that we are off to the airport to wait for our return trip home to BrisVegas.
