2006 World Tour
In and around Australia
What an exciting trip we have planned. Leaving Brisbane on a domestic flight to Sydney, then on to a direct flight to Los Angeles. After mixing with the stars we are packing for a road trip to viva-Las-Vegas!! In Vegas we are going to be casino hopping hoping to win heaps of money on the tables and slot machines!! We have a day trip planned to the Grand Canyon and a night flight over the lights of Vegas.
It is then on a plane via Dallas to the bright lights of New York. Much shopping and sightseeing planned here, as well as a Soul Food and Jazz tour through Harlem. After our 5 day sojourn, we are on our trans-atlantic flight to London.
Not planning to stay too long in London - just quickly viewing the major sights, and of course doing some shopping at Harrods! Then its on the Eurostar train to Paris.
While in Paris we will be taking time to see the Lourve this time, the Moulin Rouge and on Joe's birthday we are doing the night Segway tour. After mixing with the beautiful people we board our flight for Rome.
From here we start our 11 day whistle-stop tour of Italy, visiting Pompeii, Sorento, Capri, Napes, Assisi, Venice, Pisa, Tuscony, Florence, Siena and then back to Rome.
Paula leaves us here for her return trip to BrisVegas. Joe and I remain on in Rome for two days and then travel by Plane to Vienna. Here we start an 8 day tour of the Eastern capitals of Vienna, Prague, Bratislava and Budapest, finishing up back in Vienna. After a rest day here, we board a flight to London and then straight on to Singapore.
We stop in Singapore for a couple of days to visit the zoo and have breakfast with the orangu-tan. We've been told to expect to be peed on and have bananas thrown at us, so that should be interesting.
We then board our homeward flight for Brisbane and finish up after 49 days back in (hopefully) sunny Brisbane.
