Return to Vienna

On the bus again for our trip back to Vienna. We stop on the way at the Czech and Austrian border and are waved through without them bothering to looking at any passports. We stop at a small town called Chesky Krumlov. Here there is another castle and we climbed up to it to walk through the courtyards and view the brown bears that are kept there. We stop for a cake and coffee to tide us over until we arrive in Vienna.

It was then back on the bus for our final 2-3hr bus trip. I keep my eyes closed and head on my travel pillow for this time trying to catch up on sleep - to no avail.

The rain starts... :(

We get back to the hotel in Vienna and a large group of us agree to meet in the lobby and wander out for some dinner. This ends up being half the tour group and we innundate a local pub and feast on vienna schnitzels!!

From here we return to the hotel and board the bus for the optional concert tour. We enter the concert room which apparently Strauss used to put concerts on in and spend the next two ours listening to music from Mozart and Strauss and other composers. There are also operatic singers and dancers to entertain us for some of the pieces and we all agree that it was a fantastic evening.
